Bio:

Minhazur Rahman pursued his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington. He worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at UT Arlington Research Institute. His research involves investigating the contribution and mechanisms of interfacial interactions in adhesive bonded fiber reinforced composites.  

He was awarded a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, jointly by Nanyang Technological University and Technical University of Munich in 2019. Where his research focused on improving upon carbon fiber preform techniques and modeling material behavior of carbon fiber preforms under compression, for resin transfer molding. Prior to that, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology.

Monjur Morshed Rabby, PhD

Bio:

Monjur Morshed Rabby completed his PhD in Mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington. He has been doing research on composite manufacturing and characterization techniques under the Institute of Predictive Performance Methodologies (IPPM) at the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI). His research interest also focuses on the damage and life prediction of composite materials, nanomaterial induced hybrid composite, electro-spun nanofiber as piezoelectric sensor.

Partha Pratim Das, PhD

Bio:

Partha Pratim Das, Ph.D., is a Research Scientist II at the Institute for Predictive Performance Methodologies at the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute. His research focuses on the moisture absorption characterization of polymer matrix composites used in aerospace structures. His work leverages experimental characterizations, finite element analysis, and physics-informed machine learning techniques. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in December 2025 from the University of Texas at Arlington. He completed his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2018.
